The Mansion Resort Hotel & Spa, Ubud (Bali)

The Mansion is a beautiful resort with an expansive property and a tranquil atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxation. However, the experience was marred by some significant downsides, including misleading room categories, construction noise near the pools, and a dining experience that did not meet expectations. While I appreciated the traditional room we eventually got, the overall service and maintenance of the hotel left much to be desired.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the staff were friendly and attentive, the overall condition of the rooms and facilities left much to be desired. Breakfast was underwhelming with limited options, and the noise from construction made it hard to relax. On the bright side, the pools were nice, and the shuttle service to town was convenient.

Overall, my stay was enjoyable, with plenty of swimming options for kids and adults, and the staff's friendliness really stood out. However, the breakfast could use some improvement, both in taste and freshness. Also, the limited lunch service available while lounging by the pool was frustrating. It's a nice place but does require a bit of attention in certain areas to truly shine.

Upon arrival, the hotel appeared beautiful and the rooms were well-designed and spacious, with a lovely view of the palm trees. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell flat with slow service and limited options, and the overall atmosphere lacked vibrancy. While I enjoyed the room comforts, the food quality and some service aspects definitely need improvement to truly match a luxury experience.

The Mansion offers spacious and beautifully themed rooms but suffers from a lack of maintenance and attention to detail. While the hospitality from the staff is commendable and the facilities like the multiple pools are truly enjoyable, there are significant issues with the Wi-Fi and overall upkeep of the property. It's a mixed bag - a stunning setting with room for improvement.
